Introduction
My name is Quan Zou, and I am an Assistant Professor at the
Department of Computer Science in Xiamen University,
located in Xiamen, a beautiful city in
P.R.China. I born in 1982, received the Bachelor Degree in Computer Science and Economics at the same time in
2004, and received PH.D. Degree
in 2009 from the School of Computer
Science and Technology in Harbin Institute of Technology
Research
Interests
I have
many research interests, including bioinformatics, data mining, web access
log analysis, scalable and imbalance data classification, among which
bioinformatics is my core research area. Now I am particularly interested
in the Next
Generation Sequencing Data Mining with Hadoop.
Research
is for fun. Some other topics may attract me in the future, and I may also
lose interests in the above problems. In short, these are just my current
interests. I am a person who would like to learn new technology and
challenge new problems.
